Michaela Decter is a bay area local with an interest in visual design. Michaela’s work often is inspired by pop culture and the human psyche. Pieces such as “Eyes on Me” are great examples of both of these influences. She is a student at Las Positas College majoring in Graphic Design. She creates her work digitally through programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. She has also worked as a production assistant on several films that deal with family life and loss, such as “Fabulous Filapiono Brothers” and another film in the works. Michaela believes that the story should always drive the work.
